I remember 97.5 in Atlanta used to do this a long time ago so I thought i'd try it. Everyone add a name to the list. I'll start. Lemonjello.....I swear to God that my brother had a friend with this ghetto @$$ name. And to make matters worse.....He had a brother named Orangello!!!

any name that has unecesary apostrophe's is ghetto or Random uppercase letters like ja'Nae T'Quamas(ta-kwam-us) everybody called him TQ shae'nel another ghetto name is Abrian pronounced (ay-bri-on) her mama made it up herself

They're going to be S.O.L. just like the others. Jet magazine did a study about the small number of African Americans having jobs in Corprate White America. They sent out a batch of resumés with "ghetto names" (Tameka, Sheveka, Tytrell) on them then they sent out another batch with regular names such as Amy, Sarah, Tom and John. Both batches of the resumés were taylored to the job and had the same experiences/qualifications. Only the second batch (regular names) got a call back for an interview. Interesting....yet another form of racism in America :roll:

Chantel has never been a ghetto name....cuz that's my name...i don't see no white folks with them names...they not as "creative" as we are
