I depise that. Being Black is like the coolest thing in the world. Why people deny it??? It's so fun being us.
Here's my opinion:
Denying being Black is nothing new. I think it began about 400 years by our oppressors. They made our ancestors believe that Black is evil, terrible, wrong, unattractive, etc. Everything from our beautiful **** hair, voluptuous lips, and more, was scrutinized and looked down upon. Therefore, they began to hate everything Black, and sadly it was passed from one generation to another. Some (like Jennifer Beal) even deny their Blackness (esp. if they wanted to be accepted by mainstream America) if they were extremely light skinned. Some, like Tiger Woods, were taught to hate their Blackness. I don't wanna get too into it, but I hope you get the point I'm trying to make. :-D
Is it just me, or is all this ranting about blackness getting old...

Well, although y'all think it's an "old" subject, it still goes on today and it always will, y'know? :???:
cosign. It always will be a problem regardless so get over it. We can't even have a thread without "racism this" or "blackness that" being brought up. Just live life, make the best of it and love it. :arrow:

but it's just the shoes because when I did pointe i wore the same ones. there's like a square block in the shoes to keep you balanced on your toes
