What do you guys think about black girls wearing weaves in their hair?
I personally have mixed feelings about it. I only will accept it if I have to guess if the girls hair is a weave. I hate to see girls with weaves that look like a weave because it looks way too terrible, and two dollarish.
but anyway i dont even know why we even debating on this who gives a fat fucc if a girl wears a weave or a perm or whateva' long as your satisfied with how you do your hair let that be it. Damn!

Boy let me tell you there is nothing more beautiful and luxurious than a African- American woman. True there are nice looking girls included in every ethnic group, but a sistah has definition, color and distinction. There is none other. I would hope you would take a look at your comment and determine if you were having a bad day or you truly are ignorant. And if you are then let the redbones have you. Im not saying that black females can't have long hair because there are a lot of black females with long hair. Most black females are constantly trying to make themselves over. They put all these chemicals, weaves, and perms in their hair. All I am saying is black females need to be more natural. When I said redbones...... I mean think about it .........there are more natural redbones than black females ....... thats my point ........and yes some redbones do put weaves in their hair but more than likely u will see more black females wearing weaves
Wrong! For you to say that there are more natural redbones than natural brownskinned females, show that you really don't know what you're talking about, and you've been trully fooled. There are so many light skin girls walking around here with a head full of weave. The thing is, they could get away with it better than darker sista because I think people generally assume that if you're light skinned then you automatically have long flowing **** free hair, but that notion simply ain't true. To prove my point, some of the most famous light complected people wear weaves, Beyonce, mya, even aaliyah. And, white people such as Britney spears, and Christina Agulara, have weaves in their hair. You think just because they're white they don't wear weaves? Who in the world do you think invented the glorious weave?- Europeans. I'm a light brown complected/caramel sista, and i have long shoulder length hair, and given my complexion, although I'm not dark, more like tanned, I see girls walking around here way lighter than I am with weaves. In fact, i have a friend who's creole, damn near white looking, and come to find out she get tracks sown into her hair every month to achieve that long sandy brown hair look, and just looking at her complexion, no one would ever guess that because she's light skinned. But let a sista like myself have my natural hair down, and people are quick to ask me if that's my real hair, like a female of my complexion can't grow long hair. Boy, you have a lot to learn about female beauty secrets- a whole lot, because the female you least expect to have on a weave, will actually have one.
I think it's all in how you wear it. Now if you're shameless and the weave is tacky and obvious with tracks showing all over the place then yea it would look bad. But look at weave wearers like Beyonce and Janet Jackson. Do they look bad? I'm an au natural girl, myself. I don't do perms, weaves, none of that mess. I think if females would spend the amount of time that they put weave in their hair, to try to get their hair healthy, it would benefit them in the long run. Because if you are an extensive weave wearer, what do you have to show for it? I mean yeah for a limited time you'll look good. But in the end you know damn well that ain't your hair and your hair is damaged and thin, as opposed to thick long and lustrious hair. Besides, I know no guy wants to run their fingers through some tracks. That's why I walk around with pride cuz I got a mane full of weaveless thick, long, and natural hair.

I think all styles should be worn with taste but no one should try and be the judge of what is right and what is wrong....yes, I wear weave! Not because I have to, but because I want to! :x My family has nothing but women with long, beautiful hair but if I decide I want to front a short stlye w/o cutting my hair, then it is my choice. If I decide to cut my hair and then decide to grow it back and want to wear the longer look before I actually achieve it, then that is what I will do. Most of the women on here know that while you are growing your hair out of a stlye, it is not a pretty sight and wearing weave keeps you lookin good until the new hair stlye is ready! Weave should be worn with class and cooth!!! :? I hate to see people w/ all those loud **** unrealistic colors in their head ie. blue,white,purple and any other color that humans don't grow...when females do that, they are pushing the envelope too much but even as ridiculous as it may be, :roll: they still have the right to look that way. I am a representative for not only myself but a representative of everyone affliated with me. If we start to look at things from that perspective, we would think twice and make wiser decisions for ourselves.
I think that some weave is acceptable. When they start having blue read, and whit weave that's plain tacky. And this is coming form a female. If it's braid or something neat it's okay. I don't wear it but some people like it.....
