Hey I can relate to you some....campus life does get a little better during the fall because they tend to have more parties. But a lot of times you have to create your own fun. Of course coming from up North or from a big city it's going to be boring. I don't know from personal expericence but because my best friend happened to be from New York. I know it **** that you can't have a car your freshmen or sophmore year, but u can always work around that one. :wink: Try to befriend upper classmen so that you can get a ride to Norfolk, because the mall downtown is nice....there is three levels. Plus there is Va beach, Bush Garden's, and Kings Dominion which isn't too far....it's all about connections and finding means of transportation. During the regular school year especially in the fall there are football games and stuff. For some people after a while it kind of grows on you and then for some other people it just isn't for them.
The cafe food...*laughs* There isn't anything positive I can say about that..I know I avoided the cafe a many of days...

On another note, I am really enjoying Hampton and I come from Houston, which is a pretty big city. You must not have had a lot of friends, cause we get ish poppin round my way, lol... maybe you can tag along to the movies with us one night... ya gotta put in 3 dolla on the cab, though.

Yo it really sux that you dont like your school...you shoulda tried the real HU instead of paying for the 13th grade...As far as NY hate...it's everywhere. I'm from Ny, and they either love us or they hate us...take it in stride we know we're from the best state. Our confidence scares them...ya kno. :wink:

to the gurl who said Hamtpon suxs, hon, u have to make it fun for yourself. yea pre-college sucked to me to cuz no one was there and it was like 190 degrees every day but now that the year has started, I've been having fun. yea not every day is there a party but as long as you have your people around that your cool with for the most part. make fun with them. bottom line, you just have to know how to make fun out of a boring situation and have fun for yourself.
