Ok fact: We are all tied together in one way or another, we would not exist if the Idea had not started somewhere the fact reamins that no matter who are founders were we are tied together by the oldest Brotherhood known to man "THE MASONS" we were born out the Idea of a brohterhood that can be connected to the educational system. All our motto's have service and education. Brotherhood / Sisterhood is a given, so let's cut the bull and learn to work and live together. FuKc Constitutionla bonds Historical bonds count the most and History puts us all in this thing together. That's why NPHC was founded be cause we are all brothers and sisters. Mom and Pops Are the SQUARES and the STARS! Peace!!
A most excellent summation.

hmmm, all these post are interesting, but I think alot of greeks have their info. and other info. confused. I don't know much personal info. , but I do know that some people do say AKA founders left to start DST. This may be false or true I don't care. My point is that I have heard members of DST and AKAs both say that. And thats usually what they argue about and thats stated in some of their chants. But I do know that those who left AKA to Start DST, left because they didn't like the mission at AKA, they wanted to change the color, the mission, etc...and One of the founders of AKA said NO and those that didn't like it bounced. Simply stated get in where you fit in, and lets all get along.

None of the founders of Alpha Kappa Alpha left to form DST. That's untrue. Yes, some members of Alpha chapter of AKA left to form DST. Myra Hemmings served as both prez of A chapter of AKA and A chapter of DST, but she was not a founder. Also, Nellie Quander, the soror who gave them the ultimatum, was not a founder, but an incorporator.

As little as it is, you prolly shouldn't have told her that much; especially since she seems to have it all figured out
