^^^No not this time...You just have to write about a topic of your choice... What do you think about religion? I want to write my paper about how my Christianity has shaped my life and my character but I'm a little hesitant b/c I know religion can be a touchy subject..... What do you think??
Is anybody here intrested in Hampton? All I see people talk about in here is Howard...
Howard is most people in here's first choice and Hampton is a lot of our backup in case Howard doesn't work out.
As for me though, Hampton is starting to look more and more like where I'm going to end up going.
Since a lot of us already mentioned that we are applying to Hampton even though we know we want Howard, did anyone start filling out the Hampton app? Hampton just sent me their app and some other stuff a few days ago. Did anyone start that essay yet?

....well my two cents...
I think religion is fine because it shows you as a devolving and hopefully morally sound person.
The essay is about your life and experiences and if you feel that Christianity has benefited you, then go right ahead.

I started my Howard and Hampton app. For my Howrd essay Im going to be talking about my experience in this organization that I am apart of and how it has made a difference in my college choices.

Thats a great place to start! However, I think you should tie in Howard University and education somewhere in your essay. For example, you can say how you grew up in the church and the Howard Gospel Choir is something you might be interested in.
Religion is not a bad topic, its actually probably what will set you apart from the others. But dont let that be your only focus while writing.
