Mary Thelma Washington, who in 1943 became the First African American Woman CPA, was a Soror of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.
With Mr. Pittman and Lester McKeever, she founded Washington, Pittman & McKeever in 1968, still one of the largest black C.P.A. firms. She retired from the firm in 1985 at age 79.

And yes all the members of the Temptations are members of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated.
Sheryl Underwood is a member of Zet Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated. She is a "MADE Zeta and not honorary". She has not only been financial in all her years as a Zeta, but also chairs a the National Executive Board.
