I might..but I heard that they want students with high **** GPA's..I mean my GPA aint bad or anything..but it sure as hell aint a 4.0..I thought u were applying too?
you have to be academically strong BUT they look for girls who are mature and have leadership skills....i know this girl who was above a 4.0 and got rejected b/c she was only involved in one club for two years and her essay was bland, she really didnt say anything about herself...i only have like a 3.2 BUT i participate in 4-h, educational talent search (which is sponsored by hbcu's)student gov., yearbook, LaGEAR UP, explorers club, fbla, i've been a peer mediator for 3 years, football manager for one year, i entered the academic fair 3 times winning 6 awards in math and science (i wanna be an engineer). i've done volunteer work at hospitals, i did all of that and still had to deal with my world being turned upside down with **** katrina, and i was chosen to be a part of a college tour in atl cuz my hs counselor said she's watched my maturity and leadership skills since the 9th grade, and if it wasnt for her i wouldnt have paid any attention to SC so if i include that in my essay i should have a good chance...well i better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Girl...u know u have a good chance...cause u participated in some many clubs and a lot of activites...but your essay would be on point..if u wrote about your experiences..I mean thats what colleges want..they dont want 10 students with perfect GPAs..but aint got ****on their extracurricular (sp) activites part..lol..
