I guess I'm the only who thought that the show wasn't very good... perhaps thats because it was purely live... I dunno.. I didn't get to see the first hour... I thought it was alright, but certain momnets demanded more respect....ie: Bob Johnson's blatant advertise right b4 giving the Humanitarian award... :evil: ie: Rick James and Teena Marie.. those two should never sing live again.. I'm returning my tix for their reunion... :evil: ie: ****-as-f*ck Ying Yang Twin... nuff said.. BOO

I like Yeah.. it was hott... Burn is what happens when you are a singer live, and you just finished putting your all into a fast song.... few people can do a full show w/o their notes going flat. beyonce is one of them.. unfortunately Usher's position is under review due to that performance... He's still my nicca tho..
dats because that dude but his soul into his performance, not that i am a fan but he can really sing but he was tired, and i bet that he really practiced the dancing more than the song itself but hey thats my opinion
i understand that, and he can sing...that's why i thought he shouldnt have performed the song,because he would be tired after all that dancing...
i like the show but i thought it would have been better with all the talk they was doin bout it...i liked alicia keys and indi ari's performances...i liked g-unit and i wish luda would have done more....monquie was funny but some of it was just oooo a no no no i thought outcast would have done a better performance.....and i knew monquie would say somethin bout the ying yang twins doin that han stuff all night...and tina marie and rick james...tsk tsk tsk...they was out of shape and out of breath and tina liked to fell comin on the stage and she look too big in that dress....rick james when he started to unbutton that shirt tsk tsk tsk then when he said i'm rick james **** it wasnt' that funny i was expectin more from him....but maybe it will get better next year....
I liked the show but it was a bit unorganized like with the monitor problem w/ mo'nique but it was a live show so... yeah. Kanye West and Yolanda Adams were great. Usher was a bit overrated at the show he won some of the awards that i wish kanye woulda took home. And Rick James and Teena Marie... wow! I was cracking up at how big both of them looked. She shouldn't have been wearing that dress like that. But she can still sing- I like her new song w/ E-40. Lloyd Banks... mph. Forget G-Unit I just wanted to see Banks. Yeah his voice was a little rough but I still liked his performance I think it's kinda sad that 50 feels the need to accompany them with EVERY song they do :roll: but whatever. I felt bad for Beyonce though cuz they kept putting her and Jay-Z on blast lol @ Ron Isley talking about them having a family. Oh and was I the only one who caught Lisa Raye giving Brandy attitude after the show... Jamie Foxx kinda changed the subject but I though that was funny....
Oh and btw Raven said she was 18 so um yeah... Aggie she's legal.

We were supposed to get tix to those to my stepdad for father's day. Didn't work out though. Thank goodness cuz those two were a hot mess last night. They messed up their own d*mn song. :x :evil:
overall i thought the show was good. it had some rough spots, but a lot of great surprises. my mom was screamin like hell on the old school part

Unfortunately I missed the first hour of it, but from what I seen towards the end it didn't look thatt hot, but i dunno. That opening dance routine Usher put on was Tightt as Heyel though!!! Dancin sideways, But it seemed like there was alot of Grown Folks music & movie stuff on there though. Is it just me or does it seem like BET markets the whole show as being extremely youthful and vibrant in the commercials, with all kinds of hip hop & r&b acts gracing the stage 100% of the time? but when the show comes on theres like 2 hours of throwback songs & lifetime achievement awards?? If your gonNa show all this, show it in tha commercials! don't sugar coat it and trick us into watching the show.
