sigh... as bad as i want to go to an hbcu, i just don't know if its what I should do. i've been around us all my life and i feel its time for some change. I really want the black college experience (people say thats the wrong reason to go to an HBCU and I agree somewhat..) plus I want to learn about my people and I know that ain't gonna happen at a traditionally white institution... anywho i AM looking\been accepted to Morehouse and Fort Valley. Full ride to FVSU, dual-degree w/ Ga Tech in Computer Engineering. NROTC Scholarship to Morehouse but hopefully I get some less obligating money from Morehouse lol..

thats not what I meant at all. true, there's negativity\ "the wrong things" everywhere. I meant like... if getting the black college experience is your main reason for going to an hbcu, and you focus more on social experiences than academics, then thats the wrong reason to go.
