I'm a virgin and plan on staying that way until marriage(in ohio we call it "Claimin' tha V" 8) ). Are there any others in this forum who plan on waiting? And why is it that when a femalesleeps around she is called a "ho", but when a malesleeps around, he gets madd status around his boys? yo i'm saving my self too i see alot of my friends do it and then the guy ends up dumping them. Plus i made a commitment when i bacame a christian to save myself for marriage. Plus when i do get married i have something to look forward to
i am definitely savin myself also for marriage. your virginity is a very special gift that no one should take away from you till u are married and ready for a lifelong committment to that special someone. I have some scriptures from the Bible for all yall to read..and please do...2 Timothy 2:21, 1 John 3:3, and Mark 10:6-9. holla..and i jus wanted to say thank u to all of u who posted in this forum and is serious about staying a virgin till marriage. mr. msu man couldnt have said it better with what he said..preach on brotha!! stay true to word yall. well i wasn't as lucky as the rest of the females on this block, but i will never take back or regret losein my V i learned alot from that experience and it made me grow up......its really hard being a young,African American teen female in todays society, juss bcoz u was delt a bad hand of cards don't mean u have to play them, u can always change, and thats what i'm doin, i've made a promise to myslef and to God to have a second chance and wait till marriage, God is a 4givin God and put ppl and things and temptations in ur life 4 a reason, so u should count it as a blessin that he cares enuff to put u thru those things to make u grow in him, i'm not proclaiming to b the best "christain chruch going gurl" in the world but i kno that i can change and b 4givin and still do whats set 4 me to do inmy life.
And as for the if a women sleeps around shes a "hoe" and a man gets mad props, well i see it like this, "he w/o sin cast the first stone" so untill that day happens no1 should care what any1 says bout them, coz they r only speakin word of negativity into their own lives

Well I'm not sure what number I'm, but I'm in this club also! I came close to losing mines also, but thank God he was there and put me in the right mindframe! Well I'm saving myself for what I think is the right person, or until I get married. Males that sleep around with everybody and everything where I'm from MILWAUKEE are called hoes too. ur right, and like i said, i asked God 4 the second chance at happiness, and no u should not continue in ur sins, if u was gonna do that then y even ask 4 the 4giveness......but sometimes things happen, and God will still love u the same no matter what u did or didn't do, u juss have to kno that, No matter how much u mess up in ur life God will always b there wit open arms, and many ppl fail to see that, God is an all seein and all knowin God, and he knows when ppl r bein real wit him and he knows when they ain't so u can ask 4 the 4giveness and he will give it to u, but only u keep ur end or the bargin up but if u mess up u still can go back to then only person who really loves u after the "man" who said he loved u really didn't
