Ay yo best bet is to decide btw A&t and WSSU. ECSU is a lame university it has no rep really if you think nobody here reps that university. I am not really trying to dog that university down but I just never hear anything about them. Personally I chose A&T and will be attending in the fall. I had of choice of 5 other school but I chose that one becuase of band, athletics, academics, area G-city,and they afford a fully. it is your all around university to me if you are trying to stay in state and planning on attending a HBCU. Personally i don't think there is no better hbcu in North Carolina than A&T. (Its a opinion just remember)
U should go with the school that has your major. if they all do, do some research on the school like the area it's in, the cost, the size, what r your likes and dislikes of each school. then from there, start to narrow your search down to one. it shouldn't matter which one has the best rep. College is what u make it. u can go to a d-3 school that no one ever heard of and still have a great experience.

As of right now the thing that I hate most bout A&T is the constant construction on campus and in the city. The roads are really bad. And there are always some detour that u have to take because they working on some bulding or road.

If I was to go to school in state it would be A&T they have a lot of support from the community and they have a legendary band (even though the trumpet section isn't all that and got punked down at homecoming '03) the athletic fields are really nice especially the track and the athletic trainer is the best. as for the academics I don't know. the tri-city area is one of the best you're like 10-30 mins from everything.

I ain't a fan of ECSU, but is this really necessary?
Like some of the other posters said, visit the school and see if you fit, and if the school fits you.
You might go to A & T and be unhappy as hell. You might visit ECSU and like it; you never know. You may go to WSSU and be impressed.
