8:00 too early for me.....the 9:00 sounds good....hope to end my days by 1:00 if I can ...that would be nice...but guess it depends on what classes I have to take and whats available....they now have made a computer class mandatory for all freshman....

^^^ Yeah I heard about that. I think they were tryin to implement that my freshman year, but it was unorganized. They tried to give us a cd and make folks do it during the summer  Everybody was like naw I ain't get it. So they started making Freshman take the class last year. Its easy if you have some knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, etc). I'll probably take it senior year as an elective just to get that final boost to my GPA.

Hey.....welcome to Hampton!! Ya, i just finished my freshmen yr here and it was quite interesting...and umm, grades weren't quite where I wanted them, but next yr. is gonna be all and i do mean ALL about the books (except maybe fri and sat nite sometimes  ) But you'll meet a lot of people that you'll become friends wit (sidenote: what dorm r u gonna stay in ?? i gotta recommend P-I-E-R-C-E H-A-L-L...sorry i'm slightly biased) But i had a good experience and there's a lot of people there from philly so u will mos def not be alone. O...they do recommend u take the computer class freshmen yr. but it's not mandatory u take it right then but u do have to take it to graduate. And say no to 8 o'clock classes...that was a one time thing for me, it seriously messed up my gpa cuz the whole goin across campus at 7 somethin was **** act. but yea...c u around

I like PIERCE HALL cuz that was my brother dorm so of course i'm kinda biased and the guys who stayed there last yr were cool peoples, and that was the one dorm that had visitation and all year at though (unoffically, though). It's the male honors dorm so there's only gonna be like 40 guys there. But either way I know guys from each dorm and they all for the most part liked either dorm they were in so have fun next year. You'll prolly be reppin your dorm too...

If you're going to attend Pre-College, holla at me when you get in on Friday. Hopefully I'll be able to set it up so you can see a room in Pierce. I'm in the process of taking many more pics for my new website but I can't get into Pierce yet because they are running outward bound out of that building. If you aren't going to be on the yard until August, I should have the new site up before then. You got nothing to worry about. Pierce is small, but comfortable and fairly relaxed. In the bigger dorms like James and Harkness, there's more people for you to chill with and more activities but also some drawbacks such as the way the buildings are run is more structured. Holla!
