Me and my friends have compiled a list of things that we wanted to know about sororities but we're too afraid to ask... I tried to make sure that the questions were appropriate -- but if some aren't jus disregard them and i apologize in advance...
 the SGRhos have on their Howard website that you can pledge with 12 hrs under your belt -- what if you're a first time freshman with 12 hrs first semester(cuz you took college classes during hs)? can you pledge than (if you so choose) even though Howard requires you to be a sophomore?
 Are the AKAs on Howard's campus?
 Do the Delta's cross anything less than 30? (that question comes from a rumor we heard)
 Is it possible to be ready to pledge second semester of your freshman year?
 What exactly is blackballin?
 Is it badd to wear a particular sorority's colours? Even if it isn't intentional?
 If you are a legacy for a certain sorority (because your mom is one) will another sorority not let you pledge?
Okay that's all of it -- I'm sorry in advance if these questions have alreadi been answered and for it being long. Also thanx in advance to anyone who takes the time to answer my questions
thanx to everyone who replied -- umm to tell the truth it neva even occured to me that someone would take the "08" in my screen name to mean AKA... it really is just the year I'm going to graduate....
and here i was thinkin someone would call me out on the MIssHU part... who knew it would be the "08"... but umm thanx everyone
Alot of schools does require 30 credit hrs and @ the minium gpa of 2.8 (at least here at Skegee) but like @ my cousin school- Univ.of Alabama-Birmingham(PWI) all u have to have is 12 hrs and attend a forum called "Greek Speak" the semester that u plan on pledging in. But yeah, I've heard of alot of freshmen that pledge second semester of their freshmen year
