I got out of school in august and have been trying to find a job for a whole month; there has been no luck at all. Can anybody relate or empathize with a brotha; this is crazy.
You aint the only one......im still unemployed and ive been out of school for almost a month now . Im feeling a lil hopless but i am continuing to look :? ......
Well i dont mean to brag 8) ...but currently i have two jobs one at the aquatic center and the other at sears ...Its a beautiful life
Cosigns 1) at a summer camp (where i'm a mentor/student teacher) and 2) part ime at Express. I've had like 5 job offers this summer. It's all about networking throughout the year. Consider talking to some of the adults you know (friends of the family or whatever), the unlikeliest people may in fact be in a postion that can help you get a job where you can just sit on your **** all day (summer of 2003  )
I got my new job yesterday (I start training Monday) working Data Entry at this huge company called ACS. The faster I type, the more I make - and since I type at the speed of sound I cant wait to start this thing. Just keep your head up and do all the other things necessary to get a job. Dress professional even when youre gettin an application, build a **** resume (and cover letter if you know what job you want), and exude confidence. Good Luck you people.
I was jobless until today.....but it's my old job. I tried to get a new one or two, but they were all trippin cause I was a college student.....they would say that there wasn't enough time for me to train and get started by the time school got back in. All I was lookin for was a chance, but it seems like goin to school back home would benefit me better right now. So, I'm back at my old job....had to make some money some kinna way :?
after being bored and jobless for a month....through the grace of GOD i got my job today.....its at a doctors office in my town...u know the usual answering phones and such
the best thing u can do is apply with an employment agency...u might start out with DAY work but hey its money in ur pockets...hang in there between an employment service and GOD u r bound to find something
i intentionally quit my job of 2 years because school and work wore my behind out. since i deposited all of my checks i got somethin to sit on this summer. instead of working i'm spendin my time volunteerin at a local YMCA daycare so i'm not just layin around the house
