IS IT JUST ME OR DOES IT SEEM LIKE A LOT OF AKA'S EITHER DATE OR MARRY AND OMEGA. WHEN I WAS IN SCHOOL, THERE WERE A LOT OF OMEGAS AND AKA'S DATING AND SOME EVENTUALLY GOT MARRIED. EVEN HERE IN MY HOMETOWN, I SEE A LOT OF FRONT CAR TAGS WITH THE AKA/OMEGA SIGNS ON THEM. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?
i discussed that with my sorors the other day and we came to the conclusion that deltas and omegas have real strong minds (not to say that other people don't) but them in a marriage sometimes would be like a storm u knw. You can compare it to how black men marry white women instead of black women. AKAs are the white women...therfore more submissive and just nice to look at...and DSTs are the black, strong and independent. I mean we're biased so don't be offended. Oh yeah, the Alphas DSTs marry are the submissive ones too...u knw, out to please and treat their women right type of thing....hahaha
but i love my bruhs, very very much...at the end of the day tho, sorority and frat stuff has nothin to do with love.

You know the way people(greeks in particular) respond to topics like this says a lot about what*who* was discussed during their process as well as their perceptions of other orgs. Just the fact that she and her sorors were talking about AKAs and Omegas (and she is from neither) is suspect in itself. But hey, to each its own!

:roll: yeah so.. that's kinda ruff.. I have twin cuzins one is an AKA the othe a Delta, and they are both gorgeous and DARK AS HELL, and they said that the whole submissive thing is really not true. Most of my AKA and DST friends follow a general pattern of conduct: The AKAs tend to be more poised on a regular and have this subtle quiet confidence. Not saying that Deltas are loud by any means, but most of my friends and my cuzins are far more assertive. Meaning that they will let you know immediately that you are in the wrong. The AKAs tend to let stuff simmer, but don't underestimate them.. you know the quiet ones got some serious ways of expressing their anger...

COSIGNING. The "pretty thing was a joke. AKAs have the thing about Pretty Girls in 20 pearls, we have several chants about being pretty as well. I thought people would've caught on to that but oh well! Too busy trying to prove a point ((not you))Basically people are individuals. You cannot generalize a whole group of people into one stereotype. I am assertive, aggressive, and some have even called me loud. No disrespect to anyone but I have been told that based off of these things that I should've been a Delta. I am my own individual and that is that, no letters are going to change me into something that I am not and that's what it boils down to. As I said before, I think it is only coincedence that I am AKA and my bf is a Q, but ask him anyday what he likes most about me ((besides the physical)) and he will say the fiestiness.
