Where are my Xavierettes

Is there anyone going to Xavier University. Holla at me and tell me things you have heard or how you feel. I will be attending Xavier in the fall and I need some input. :wink:

My best friend is going there in the fall. She will be leaving here tomorrow for the summer program.

Im goin to the summer program TOO. Howard Hughes. I really don't know what to expect but im excited. Im drivin down from Houston, its goin to be a long ride, but good things take time. i hope to see all of u down there.

What's up ya'll? I'm glad to see that you're excited about entering XU in the fall! Yeah, have a great time in HH (that's what we call the Howard Hughes summer program) and DO WHAT DR. CARMICHAEL TELLS YOU TO!!!! I remember the good ole days in KD when I did HH, ahh, the memories! Well in case you're wondering, I'm an upcoming senior at XU and if you have any questions, have at it, just send me a PM and I'll help ya out if I can. Oh yeah, every July 4th weekend they have the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. Now don't go down to the French Quarter getting buck wild, but you may want to go see all of the beautiful black people hangin out and chillin on Bourbon. Anyways, what dorm do they have ya'll staying in for the program?

oh yeah, forgot one thing...princess B, it's Xavierites :wink: To everyone else: Please be NICE to the peer deans cuz they don't have to be as good to you as they will be. That's a volunteer activity....yeah they volunteer to give up their last week of summer to come help YA'LL have a smoother transition into XU AND they move all of your crap to your rooms, but please don't act like you don't have any hands when you see they're trying to help you (cuz that's been known to happen). 8)

Im at the program right now. Things are going well. We are staying in St. Martin DePorres. Things are great!

Hey yall, I know I'm late, but I will also be attending Xavier University this fall and majoring in Biology/Pre-Med. I came down from Atlanta (8hr drive!) for the Essence festival and did a quick walk thru on campus. I think New Orleans is an ok city, and the campus was smaller than I thought it would be. I don't have a room assignment yet, but I can't wait for school to start. So if anyone can tell me more about the school, holla at me :wink: .
