i dont know too much about the pre-med classes, but psychology majors find their classes challenging. 1) theres two clubs in tuskegee that start thurs to sun night... thats where you'll find most people, theres also campus wide events of course but you'll want to go to other places too when u want to do something. apartment parties on campus get shut down pretty quickly but they happen 2)some freshman dorms are... except White (honors dorm). id suggest sage or adams. their all undergoing renovations. after your sophmore year you can live off campus or in the oncampus apartments (they're nice) 3)there is no curfew but of course no male/female visitations past the lounge area 4)the food is improving lol... its not mama's cooking, sometimes its good and sometimes its bad... breakfast is the best meal. 5)the dorms have internet, u can get an ethernet or internet cord at the bookstore or if u already have it on ur laptop... theres several computer labs around campus as well

Well if you are interested in Clark Atlanta 1.Admissions make sure keep a copy of everything you send to CAU because they tend to lose things alot. 2. The professors are pretty cool and very challenging. CAU professors really make you think about things. 3. Classes you have alot of choices where you want to take your classes for example you can cross register at Spelman or Morehouse. 4. Everybody at CAU is pretty cool except for the few people nagging because they dont want to be at CAU. From orientation till freshman week you will have lots of fun. 5. Okay CAU have many choices of dorms freshman can stay in for example we have traditional dorms and CAU suites which the suites are very limited. They also should have new dorms built for the FALL 09 that is cater to freshman. You will love the dorm step off and each freshman dorm has a brother dorm at morehouse or for boys a sister dorm at spelman to represent AUC unity. 6.Wow the social scene at CAU is off the chain we have all types of promotion groups in the AUC that host alot of parties. Clark also have a fashion show for homecoming week and one for spring semester. Were the only school in the AUC to have two fashion shows. We have the balls such as the famous Kappa Ball and the Coronation Ball which is like a big prom. We also have about 4 step shows a year. All of our greeks are on the yard. The bball games are really fun for morehouse and spelman game. The football games are cool and so is the band. You would love CAU from a social aspect and an educational aspect. 7.The pros of CAU is that were the most fun educational University or College you can attend. The only con in your case is that CAU is not known for Pre-Med. Other then that you will love CAU and have that PANTHER PRIDE.

The top 5 schools that place URMs into Medical schools are 1. Xavier 2. Spelman 3. Harvard 4. Howard/ Morehouse 5. UMCP - University of Maryland College Park Xavier, Spelman and Howard are all GREAT HBCU'S that would prepare you well for Medical school. There are great success stories at every HBCU. Find the one that's right for you! ps. I'm going to Spelman next fall. I have accepted the fact that Spelman freshman dorms have no a/c and that the administration is kinda slow (I think that one stands true for most HBCUs, but I'm not trying to judge lol) I almost went to Howard. Both schools are really great. They are in fun cities that have amazing internship opportunities. Both are in rough neighborhoods, but as long as you have common sense you can survive.

****@both are in rough neighborhood. u can say that again. i attend school literally right across the street from Howard, ive been on their campus so many times i feel like i go there. the neighborhood **** too many crack heads and ghetto hood boys down the street. its a really good school tho, the only reason i wont apply is because i live like right down the street from it and go 2 school right across the street from it.lol..

As long as you keep your GPA up and have decent SAT scores you'll get in. A score of 1160/1200 or higher basically means your golden. Having a really nice essay wont hurt either. Spelman's food is subpar but you can always find something around ATL. There are a ton of parties. I did an overnight and my hostess' room was covered with flyers and posters. When I joined the Spelman 2012 facebook group, I got 10 requests from party promoters. I highly doubt that anyone could have a poor social life. When it comes to financial aid, SPELMAN IS HORRIBLE! Only a select few get scholarships. If you're seriously contemplating spelman start searching for scholarhips now. I got a full ride at Howard and NOTHING at Spelman. Fortunately, I got an out of school scholarship. I hope the college process doesn't stress you out. I'm sure you'll make the right decision.

oh yea it doesn't cost extra money to take classes at Morehouse or Clark Atlanta since all the schools are in the AUC.
