When ya'll come up with your potential names, do ya'll take into consideration how the name will sound with a last name or do you just say "I like this name and this is what it's gonna be regardless of what the father's last name is!"?

hmm i never thought about baby names...but i'm really into names that have meanings...i guess i'll put names on pieces of paper and pull them out of a hat ...but there will be no babies or doing the horizontal cha-cha until i'm married and my career is established

Well, I was gon' say no. But the person I'm talking to isn't havin' it. For some strange reason, his name is sacred. Whatever. But whatever the last name was going to be, I made sure that the names had serious meanings before I just went all gungho into it. The two uncommon names, that I have there, Hadiya and Thalia actually dip into my own love for African and Greek culture. Hadiya means 'extraordinary' and/or 'gift' and Thalia is the Greek Muse of Comedy and Cheer. As well as a pretty prominent telenovela star...
