Do you know anybody that talked all the time about pledging a particular organization, (ie: talked to members, went to workshops, & interest meetings) but then, were NOT accepted.....so they pledged the next best thing?? I know this girl that talked ALL THE TIME about becoming an AKA. she went to ALL the events they put on and went to 2 interest meetings. By the time she was ready to pledge the chapter had already put 2gether an underground line, and they were due to probate shortly. She knew they only had lines once every 1 or 2 years, so she started looking for other options. To make a long story short, she went to whoever was likely to put her on. she found the Zetas. now she represents Zeta like nobodys business!! party hops, nalia, etc!! Do yawl know anybody like that, and if so, how are they perceived by the people that KNOW tha real deal??

Here's a Question.. I want to be a ______, but the SGRhos are having a meeting that I want to go to (subject matter is interesting).. should I go to the meeting, or is that disrespectful to the ______? Like, I know that there are members of other sororites at the interest meetings to watch out for people who like to "switch sides", but is it wrong to go to another sorority's meeting? (NOT DURING RUSH WEEK)

I know TOO many people like that. I won't even get specific like you do cause folks is way too sensitive about others even mentioning their letters around here  But yes, I definitely know females AND males who have done the "second best" thing. *smh* Sadly, some people just want letters, and ANY letters will do

All I'm gonna say is before the flyers go up, you need to have your mind made up! ABC is going to find out if you went to XYZ's rush and your chances of getting into either org is slim to none after that.

I couldn't see myself pledging anything else but what I want to pledge. If I were not to get accepted or they got suspended then I would just wait till graduate.

Hahaha, I know a few chicks like that. One just crossed AKA and wore pink and green all damn semester, I'd just look at her and shake my head. I know this other chick who's momma is a Delta but since our Deltas got suspended, she went out for AKA. It's a shame cuz the Deltas really did run the yard.

Prime Example... I heard about this girl who wanted to be a DELTA for her entire life... Her mama was an AKA, so she was already knowledgable of how sororities work... She rushed DST for like 3 years, didn't make it, and then pledged legacy for AKA... needless to say, the AKAs got the last laugh.. Her line name was Pink Pyramid... LOL... That just shows a lack of disrespect... like I can understand tryna throw people off the scent, but that was just WRONG.. I mean.. If they do something w/ those letters, great, but those types of people need help...
 I can't imagine what she said about her line name at her probate, serves her **** good

Now see, that's CRAZY!! People need to really examine why they're doin what they're doin. Some folk is just dyin to have letters, stroll, the whole nine yards (pardon the pun). However, everyone has a right to change their mind. Maybe this one chick decided that her future, her destiny wasn't with that particular org, but rather with another one. If she's choosing her own destiny, so be it. Point being: Some people know what they want. Some don't.
