I'm depressed right now....

But old heads on HBCU know I love my school.....
Sadly, Morehouse ain't giving me nothing but Loans...cause my parents make too much money....

Well SIUC is a good school... but you will definitely be a different environment...
Ma first choice was University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, but out of state tuition is 34,000+.... And the most financial aid I can receive is a 2600 dollar loan :cry:
FAMU gave me a full ride so that's where Im goin and hopefully I will be content with my decision...
Just pray about it. God wont send u off on a bogus mission...lol
Thats what I told him...I really do think it will be worth it in the end. One thing my parents have raised me to believe is if you really wanna go to a school, and you dont have the money...the Lord will make a way, and dont focus solely on the money. You have to have faith that a way will be provided outta no way. ( thats of course assuming He wants you to ge there ). I just feel like dont let the fact that you dont wanna pay off students loans when u graduate from Morehouse be the main reason you wanna transfer. I say pray about it, and see where God directs your path. And hopefully, he will direct it to where your heart and home is...MOREHOUSE. :wink:
God will make a way!! i remember last summer when I found out that I did not get any financial aid not even a loan and my mom told me that I should choose a school here in the boston area for less and my dad always told me that I would be able to attend Clark Atlanta regardless of how the situation looks God is looking out for me and of course 2 weeks before I was to leave for Atlanta God pulled through and my parents were able to pay $25,000 out of their own pocket to make my dream come true and I am going back to CAU; they still have money to spend on my siblings and themselves.
Put your trust in God he may not come when you want him but he will be there right on time!!! Trust me! Good Luck
College is an experience that only comes once in a lifetime and you would want to enjoy every minute of it. Enviroment is everything and if you think that you would have a better time at morehouse go ahead and take out the loans and pay them back after you get ya kickass job fresh out of morehouse. Just make sure w/e you do, you do it for you and for what you want.
