The Issue:
Kimberly Sherman was not laughing after she said the Comedy ZOne in Charlotte
billed her last week for dinners of 2 friends the club says walked out without paying.
Shermans party of 10 got separate checks. A friend left without paying after
waiting almost 30 minutes for a corrected bull, Sherman said. Service that night
was poor, with several people receiving their food an hour late, she said.
Sherman, who paid her $32 tab with a checkcard, found the next day her account had
been charged for the $34 meal of the friend who left without paying. She was also
charged for the $22 dinner of another person at her table, someone who paid in cash, Sherman said.
Her friend should not have walked out on the bill, said Sherman, who works in the Observer's database marketing dept. But she said the club should not have charged HER account.
Has anyone ever ate and ran? Or know someone that does it all the time?
i have never walked out on a bill...i have been in places and been with groups where some folks in the the group walked out on their bills and the whole group got blamed for it....that's y i would never walk out on a bill....
MiCasitas is that shiznickle mickle! Naw for real. I don't do stuff like that on purpose, but if a waitress give me a hard time...she ain't getting SHYT! Now I am a waitress and I know that some nights its just impossible to put a smile on your face. But dammit, when I come to eat , I'm like a walking paycheck, so it IS your priority to make sure I have a good time when I come and eat. Especially if I'm acting like I got sense when you take my order. If you are just plain nasty becasue of this and that...fuccin with me you'll get this and that...but won't get no money...not from me anyways.
i did...i called my best friend m'keva and was like, 'yo i'm taking you out to breakfast, come pick me up pimpin.' so we went and we ate and the waitress went to go get a box for my waffle (i was at waffle house) and i went in my purse for my wallet and realized at the moment that I HAD LEFT IT AT HOME. so kevie went to go get the car and the waitress came over and i was like 'yo, can you get me some syrup'. she went to get the syruip, kevies swooped up to the curb and threw the passenger side door open, i hopped in and we dipped....
I felt bad though.... We were both waitresses at the time...I wanted to go and pay her back but then I moved to Atl...

I remember one time I was at Jillians (sports bar like Dave & Busters) and it was an HBO fight on that night, so it was hard to get a table. And then finally a table opened up, but it needed to be cleaned. That table sat there untouched for about 15-20mins. so we said bunk dis and sat down anyways and started clearing the table off. BUT,....as I was clearing some plates off the table I found some money! It was like $17cash!!! So i pocketed that sheyet!! I figured the waiter ain't care about his table anyways so I ordered us some wings and still had money left over for some bowling. lol!!
Once, I was out w/ my ex and we were gonna do it, but right before we could, these highschoolers got caught on the night of their prom tryna skip out, so they had to work it off.. one of the girls called her momma to get her card number.. it was so embarassing for them, so we just paid.. and tipped HUGE......
I've never done it and never will. I worked at a restaurant before so I know how much drama it causes and how much your tip makes up your pay. I'm a strong believers in do unto others. My friends from church won't go out with me because they took me out for my birthday and I made them tip the waitress her full amount. At first I was like I'm going to pay her the tip...but they were like since its your birthday we'll tip her although we usually don't. I would have let them off on not tipping but they were being loud and obnoxious all night ... which was kinda fun...but you could see the waitress was tired of us and we had held up that table for a good 2.5 hours (meaning she lost out on atleast another tip)...so I was like we have to pay. I'm a little reserved about going out with them because they skip out on paying for the movies....cut lines in amusement parks....I just can't do it...my conscience won't let me.
i thought about it but never did it....i saw one time on real tv, these folks who was throwin a party,rolled up to a gas station,25 deep and took everything outta that B*tch! :lol: I wanted to do that 8)
thats crazy.. i wanna do it.. naw i wouldnt do that i wouldnt skip a bill eitha with my luck i'd be the only **** in my party to get caught lol naw and my cuzzin and a few friends are waitresses and i know what they got to go through when someone skips a bill they have to pay and at some restaruant they go on warnings and probations ..(like its their fault)
