ANyways...Ima have to go with Monica. Girl can SAAAANG. I love her voice and her music. I still like Brandy..but I like her music much more than I like her voice. To me, Brandy sounds like a dude. :? She got some deep **** vocals...Now the old school Brandy who wore the braids, was on Thea and Moesha, and sang songs like " Sittin up in my Room. " Ill always give her the edge over Monica anyday...But presently speaking where the two are right now vocally speaking...Ima give it to Monica.

dont get me wrong, the girl can sang, but overall Brandy, IMO, is the better artist.

I Think Monica is better, thier hasn't been a Monica album that I didn't like but its really hard to compare the two because they sound so different. they are two different people with the talent to sing who have lived different lives and their music reflects that. so its a hard comparison to make.
I can't stand Brandy. I know its wrong to not like someone that you don't even know... but there is just somethinkg about her that just errks me! I don't think she can sing a lick, there are 3 songs that I like alll together that she's sung. I'd have to say Monica, hands down. She has a beautiful voice. I love almost every CD Monica has put out there (well.... im not to sure about that All Eyes on Me CD). Now if you wanna talk about acting... thats another story... Monica can't act for nothing. Dang I'm such a "hater" ..
I like Monica better. I like her style and everything. Plus, she can saaang! I guess the reason that I'm favoring Monica is because she set a record for being the youngest female artist ever (14) to have two back-to-back #1 hits on Billboard's R&B singles chart. I also like more of her songs than Brandy's.
I like Brandy, too, because she can sing and act well, in my opinion. But I still like Monica's vocals better.
