at morgan state, freshman wit cars can drive . in ur case however, the best thing 2 do is get in good wit an upperclassman with a car, and/or just simply ask around. after all, ur not the only female that gets her hair, eyebrows , nails or whatever done. most colleges have such shops nearby (2 take broke college kids $) that u can either walk 2 or take a shuttle/bus. and since u go 2 an hbcu there's probably plenty of girls right at ur school that can hook ur hair up and/or give u sum good references! u'll b straight
i know how u feel i'm an incomin freshman but i have a friend that does hair and she goin to do mine when i move...i know bama state let's freshman have cars and live off campus....

that's what my friend that's goin to do my hair down there was tryin to talk me into micros but i hate gettin my hair braided...but i think that's what she goin to do with her hair keep it braided up cause she says it's less maintenance....but do what ever u can manage and afford...
Man I WISH Freshmen couldn't bring their cars up here to A&T. Parking on campus is a muddafuccer! I have never in my life had to drive around for 30 min. to get a park.Or leave the crib 30 min in advance so I would be on time to class. ****I had to walk my freshman year...so should the rest of ya's! :evil: :twisted:
I feel u on the hair and nails thind gurlie! I am goin out of state, but my stepmother told me that her neice lives about 20 min from campus, and she does hair. But for those of u going to Hampton I do hair, so feel free to hit me up anyitme i'm not in class, as long as u don't want one of those all night hair do's. In that case u need 2 make an appointment :lol:
i had a car my freshman year but i also knew alot of people who did their own hair so i got cool with them and now my homegirl who went to cosmetolgy school does my hair and nails, but when she's not around i do them myself.
