Those who have already experienced @ least one year of college...what are some things...habits...or routine events that you gotta readjust from when you come home for break, the weekend, etc. from school?liiiike...
one BIG one for me...is not talkin' on the phone at anytime before 8 or 9pm Mon-Fri....y'know, wit everybody's nighttime/weekend cell minutes u gotta work around, plus class schedules, & ish...it really ain't too easy (or common) to get up on tha tele with people during tha day at college....
So when i'm at home, it's the middle of a weekday, & a friend calls me on my cell, i'm like . . . huh? haha (Dwayne, THIS INCLUDED U THAT DAY U & CHRISELLA CALLED...i was like...wth?! lol)...
another one...jus' decidin' to up & go for a walk with a friend or two....at 3 in tha mornin'...for no reason...without hearin' grief from any "headz of tha household" :?
it being 2nd nature to come in at FIVE in the mornin'.....on a school night....& not hearin' any type of grief, 3rd degree, etc....no explanation needed for ANYone...'cept yaself when u tryna wake up in a few hourz 4 that 8am :?
when my mama is talkin' my ear off, tryna get loud (or GETTING LOUD), and gettin' on my case about whateva....i know that i only got a few more seconds (no more than minutez...instead of MONTHS :evil until one of us hang up...& i can move on with my life ....'till the next time she calls :evil:

Man i gotta watch what I say on the phone when im at home...
:arrow: Coming and going out with guys I just met without my mom being like " what guy are you going out with, where you know him from...etc.. " basically giving me the third degree about who Im going out with.
:arrow: Wearing my clothes how I want...My mom feels the need for me to stay covered up 24/7....so when I get back to school I dont have to hear my mother say stuff like " pull up your shirt...you dont need to be showing any cleavage. " :x so annoying...
COSIGNS, if my dad says one more thing about my cleavage its on and poppin.....why i gotta get a lecture when i get dressed and yet my sisters walk around in ne and everything they plz? at least im 19 and know what i am doing

Going into my 3rd year of college...
-STILL not use to having to tell my moms where I am going or how late I am going to be out
-My moms is SO nosy too, lol gotta know where i'm going, who i'm talking to,how u know em' so on & so forth
-The first couple weeks after i get home i keep dialing 9 when using the house phone, lol
....lets not forget work....i work all the damn time :roll: :roll: ! Least i'm gettin paid i guess...

Thats about how I feel...ands I'm just stayin with my aunt...boy I can't wait till I got home in August and I'm back with mama...she already tellin me...you better not be comin in here half-**** or think you gonna be out runnin the streets... :roll:
Oh my gosh, both my parents get on my nerves.
1. Having to drive errbody around
2. Forgetting that I can boil water to make oodles & noodles instead of the microwave
3.Not making up my bed-this is a big one with my parents b/c they get so mad...its my room, do u live in there?
4. Sharing clothes-as soon as I got home, my sisters started askin for my stuff
5. My music-can't blast my club music cuz somebody always takin a nap
6. Not cursing-OOOHH GOODNESS THIS IS A BIG ONE B/C I CURSE IN EVERY SENTENCE AND I'VE GOTTEN POPPED ON THE FOREHEAD MORE THAN ONCE FOR SAYIN SOMETHING I SHOULDN'T HAVE.
7. DOIN THE DAMN DISHES...I HATE WASHIN DISHES
DAMN...AUGUST 30TH IS A LONG WAY AWAY :cry:
I already told my man that Saturday and Sunday will have to be **** day rather than a day during the week cause we both bout to be seniors and I have to get up for those 8 am classes and internship! I already know this aint gon work though :arrow:
OH MAN.... i don't have to worry about it at the moment, but I did when I was at home last summer and I HATED it.
