Why do females hate on each other???? Posted on 12-09-2003

:o I don't know if this has been talked about yet or not, I'm sure it has, but it's really irritating. I always have envied how men can get along with each other and even when they don't they can squash their issues and be cool with each other afterwards. Whereas for women, we can't even say hello to another female without rolling our eyes  . I encoutner that a lot and I find that for myself and many other females, we tend to get along with men better. I just wanted some females to shed some light or experiences on this issue.....

i must agree with this one... i mostly get along with my male friends better than females... i'm not going to blame it entirely on those females but i do have my reasons for some... and basically it's not jeelous... it's because they don't like me or has done something that has tried to crush my pride... and i love myself very much. but i try to get along with who i can and i must say that most of my male friends has stayed loyal with me and has never disappointed me to the point i don't want to talk to them. then they (those evil girls who hate me so) go this thing that i'm a **** cuz i got a lot of male friends... please tell me i'm not alone with this one.. this had to happen to someone else here right  :?:
Girl I can definetly feel you on that one...I don't trust females, I have very few that are actually loyal and that I can trust...maybe 3 or 4...even then I still keep a guard up. I have high self-esteem and I try really hard to make it a point to be nice to whoever I come into contact with because you never know what could happen to that person. Males just seem to keep it real and I personally think they are more fun to be around. Girls want to call other females **** just because they are jealous and they know that is one way to ruin someone's reputation. It's really shallow.
i have to feel you on that... no matter how hard you try to keep it real with another female... some always have to throw that negativity out there. i could never understand it myself but... i think males are easier to get along with... i think that i will post some thing on the Love, Singles Mingles joint to see if i get any good replies back... BRB

I never have, and never will understand why females just can't get along with each other. Guys don't normally have this problem. Y can't y'all be more like us in that we don't hate on each other for no aparent reason, at least out in the open.

I thought it would be easier, being a lesbian, but it isn't (not all the time). Because so many girls instead of being jealous, think I must be hitting on them. O please. But probably since there isn't thge jealousy and I couldnt give a crap if anyone thinks I look cute or if they like my shoes any of that stuff (except formaybe the cute girls I guess), then I probably am less of a threat as far as the man thing goes...so I don't have as many problems with this...

Cause its a competition..whether it be clothes, shoes, money, men, jobs...anything. As much as many females won't admit..they are trying to be better than the girl next to them instead on complimenting (sp?) them. so sad

Please don't think that all women are like this. And please dont think that men can't be this way too. When men are jealous of other men they have different ways of showing it. Jealousy and "haterism" (if that's a word) are not things that only the female gender experience. I have many female friends. Friendships with women can be some of the tightest bonds you will ever experience. I am always quick to give support, compliments, and congratulations to other women. I know plenty of other women who are the same way. The real problem is not the cattiness that some women have with each other, it's the insecurities that are behind them. Instead of this post being about women who hate and tear each other down it should be about insecure people who hate and tear each other down. All women do not get jealous of other women who are doing well, all insecure people, however, do.
