I am doing an installment move-in... In other words, I am moving most of my clothes, the computer (when I get it), stereo, and fridge.. If I need anything else, I'll get it shipped over.. Or, if peopel are going home in Thanksgiving/Xmas, they can switch stuff....
I was able to bring most of my stuff from my room at home cause I had my own bedroom freshmen year. But alotta stuff I did leave home cause I bought alotta stuff for my room when I got to Tallahasse, at places like Target and Walmart. But I still didnt bring EVERYTHING, cause I didnt want my room being cluttered. Even though I had my own bedroom it was still FAMU housing...so you only have so much space. But like everyone has said...You need to consider the fact that you have HALF a room...since the other half belongs to your roomie. But on your half you do want to show your personality. Thats one thing I made sure I did with my room at school. Anytime anyone walked into my room...they knew my favorite color was purple...My entire room had a lite purple theme.
But yeah, like everyone has said consider the amount of space you have, and that the space you have will be shared with one other person...so just keep those things in mind. I know at FAMU you arent able to contact your rommate and they dont give out their info, but at most schools they do. So if you can, call you roomie beforehand and see what things you two may share to help conserve space. Like one of you bring the tv, the other the dvd player, etc...
I think you get the point now. Have fun moving in.

Hell...that's about all u really need to know...
I know at JSU they got pretty descent sized rooms and a good factor is that instead of havin dressers...they have them split in half and stashed under tha bed so there's actually more storage space in tha room

4) True...but thats why all college students should have a trunk to put their valuables in that they dont wanna leave out...
And I DO need every outfit I've ever worn...thats a neccesity.
