I was listening to Ed Lover and Dr. Dre on the radio the other morning and they was asking people if true love still existed today??
do you think it does??
i do and don't, cuz so many people are saying the words "I love you" like its an everyday word...people get married just to have that status or for someone's money... people don't understand what love really is anymore, sad to say...you don't see couples like my grandparents together for thirty, forty, fifty years no more...
but...
right now i know for a fact that i have found my true love and he is someone i don't want to ever leave my heart....he is my other half, my inspiration, my thoughts, motivation, everything....
true love is a wonderful feeling and if you ever find your other half, you should do whatever you can to keep him/her cuz its a one in a billion chance to find another....
so what are y'all views on this topic??
True love defintely does exist but I think people are just running from it. They want instant gratification instead of the tears and sweat it takes to work on a genuinely love-filled realtionship.
Exactly...It seems as if everyone wants the benefits of love but are not willing to put in the time it takes to get to that level. How can you truely say you love someone if you have never been through the trials and tribulations...
I've said it before and I'll say it again I'm In Love With the Idea Of being in Love..
But does monogamy still exist? I mean if I gave a female My Heart and My Soul and I find out that she has cheated on me..I don't know what would happen.. :? :x
But untill I find her.... F*ck Hoes
Man, i never thought i would be in love with someone and they actually love me back as much i love him. I believe true love exist fully. My man is my best friend, my love, my mentor, and someone i look up to extemely. I just hope that our future has us in it together for a long time.
Before I met the guy I'm with now, I would "fall" (notice I say that with sarcasm) in love with people becasue that's what I thought I was supposed to do. If you're with them a long time, well this feeling I was feeling was love right. No it was familiarity, not love. It wasn't until I actually fell in that light-headed, butterfly flutterin, weak in the knees love did I understand what it means. Yes true love exist. I believe God puts us in certain situations (such as a certain dorm room, with a certain friend right around the corner, being by myself on Valentine's day..that's how I meet him) to meet that certain person. He works in such mysterious ways, and the things that happen afterwards, lets me know that I am making the right decisions with the right persons...
and this story can go onnnn and onnn...so I'm just gonna stop.
I think that there are three types of love: Lust Love, Heart Love, and Head Love. There order of relevance usually depends on the maturity of the individual, with Head Love being the best of the three.
A combination of all three is what equals true love. It usually takes some maturity and experience to be ready for it as well.
I'm a firm believer in love and I believe that there is a soulmate for everyone. Some people find their soulmate and some don't. If you are lucky enough to be connected with your soulmate then you will find true love.
i believe that love still exists and sometimes all you have to do is look right in front of you b/c the person you least expect could be the one for you

Quoting my favorite scripture: LOVE is patient, LOVE is KIND... it is not rude... it is not proud... it is not self-seeking...it does not anger...LOVE DOES NOT DELIGHT IN EVIL BUT REJOICES WITH TRUTH...
It always protects, it always trusts, it always hopes, it ALWAYS perserveres!
