Hey! I'm a Lady-In-Waiting for the Links Cotillion, and I was wondering, who is being presented this year, or waiting for next year?

What up fellow Debutantes? This year on November 28, 2003 I was a Debutante in the christian business professional alliance debutante promanade. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I made some great friends and had a fun time. I won 2nd runner up and three other awards so I recieved a little over $3,000.00 for college. I would not trade the experience for nothing. Man I get so excitied when I talk about it (lol).

Hey, this is Slim from NC- Im new here and this is the first chat room I've come to! (I just got accepted to WSSU) I was an AKA debutante last year, and it was a great experience. THe girls I met there will remain close forever. It's a honor to be invited to be in a deb. You get to do a lot of activities and meet new people. Also, depending on what place you get in the actual competition, you get scholarships. If anyone has any questions a/b deb season, holla @ me @ jazzholland@hotmail.com.

I am an Alpha Pearls Debutante for the Phi Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and our cotillion is on March 6, 2004. My experience has been great so far, especcially since my best friend and I are both in the program. I have a question for my fellow debs: Is your boyfriend your escort or did you choose a good friend?

Hey I am being presented on the 6th of March also and since I don't have a boyfriend my good friend is going to be my escort. Dance practice is so funny we had to keep doing it because the dance teacher said we all were doing too much with the waltz LOL

I plan to be a debutante. But I'm not sure if I want to be presented by the Delta's or the AKA's.

How do you get to be a debutante? I know a couple of my friends have been presented, but I never understood how that came about. What do you have to do? Do you have to apply for it or something? I think it might be fun.
