I'll be up that ways this weekend starting Thursday with some of my frat bros. Is there anything going on, club-wise? or where do everyone hang out at (without gettin shot, or robbed) Kan somebodi help a bruh out, and provide tha inside skoop on DC. any tight strip clubs, malls, theatres, restaurants,etc I DEFINITELY need to be at? and what are the closest campuses & is there anything going on there. thankz in advance....

Oh yeah...one more hint about the club scene. Some clubs change up for certain nights...as far as the crowd and music. Haven't been to the club in a minute...but I know some nights are geared more towards white folks (Pop and Dance music) and other nights its straight R&B, hip hop and of course go-go.

cosign...umm if ya wanna good mall go to pentagon city...and adams morgan got some good food up in that urea as well lol and cosign to whoever said georgetown, oh yeah and chinatown is ok
umm for the ALTERNATIVE as in music lol...and im gonna kick my brother for not telling wet was a STRIP club as well :lol: but anyways
9:30 club--usually got some hot acts coming through usually like jill scott, N.E.R.D, jurassic 5, the vines, anthony hamilton, fefe dobson, modest mouse...ya just gotta check their website to see who's coming
Platinum--good mix of people, great club, different levels go on thursday cause that's college night if you have friends younger than 21, otherwise go any day on the weekend

everybody already gave pretty good advice on good places to go, but i just wanted to add on a lil. Georgetown really is a good place to shop and eat. there are a lot of different stores down in that area on wisconsin ave and m street. pentagon city is a nice mall, but they don't have much for males in there so pg plaza is always a good option, especially if you like buyin shoes. like somebody else said tyson's corner out in va and arundel mills in md are also real nice. as far as clubs go i wouldn't recommend the legend or crossroads, their security isn't tight enough. but Dream is always a good option, I know thas where imma be on thursday. friday DJ Clue is gonna be at Dream so it'll probably be crowded, check out the website www.welcometodream.com for more info.
And as far as movie theatres go I've heard people talk a lot about Hoffman theatre out in va on eisenhower ave, and also there's a new movie theatre in Silver Spring, md just outside of dc called the Majestic 20, those are really nice and there are some good places to eat around there too.
