I'm Not The Daddy I want My Money Back!! Posted on 07-26-2004

A man gets a female pregnant and the female quickly takes the man to court and he is ordered to pay child support. Several years later his daughter tells him that he is not her Biological father and he gets a DNA test with the girl and the results say that he was not the father.. Should that man be entitled to his money back from all the child support that he has paid??

I'm sorry bruh, but this is almost (not completely, but almost) impossible. When you take someone to court for child support, you take a free DNA test unless there is no possible doubt that the child is yours, OR unless you accept the child as your own (that way you assume the role of the biological father so you end up paying child support regardless). Either way, I don't think he should get the money back.
Oh..It's impossible??? I saw a case on Court T.V

Why didn't he get the DNA test as soon as he could. I mean if I had doubts and I was a dude the minute the baby popped out it would be getting tested.

I'ma need for you to read my brotha...did you not see the almost?? as well as the situations when a DNA test would not have been taken? I know I see it, just wondering if you do...uh huh, just checkin. And like I said, he accepted the child as his own so he had to pay, simple as that.

See DNA tests can range from $450-$500 bucks.. That's why most men that are not finically stable will take the womens word that they are the father.. But yes..If the man could prove his case in court the the women KNEW that he could possibly be the father than yes he could be awarded his money back..but that's only thru Child Support where it shows how much he paid.. ..If he gave the woman CASH then he won't be awarded anything because those could be considered Gifts.. get it??

Actually, as long as the male does not have his name down on the birth certificate as the father, then the male is entitled to have his money back with a law case of course.

He definitely should. It was his bad for not getting a paternity test to make sure, but that still doesnt make it right on her part. Any female who pulls a slick one like that should be ordered to make the man monthly payments of all she owes him...the same way he had to make monthly payments to take care of a child that isnt his...

If he was just "the check" then I think he should get his money back.. If he was actually in the kid's life, I think he should just charge that one to the game and be thankful that he has a kid who loves him for who he is regardless of their relationship....

Kids are more expensive...I would see it as an investment...esp. if I wasn't quite sure if the kid was mine.
