I feel you ****. I had an internship at **** the summer before my freshman year and I worked with mostly white people. I would tell them that I was goin to Spelman and they would be like "Where's that at?" or some would just be like "Oh ok" with a smile on their face, and we both knew that they didn't know what the h*ll I was talkin bout. So eventually I just started tellin people I was going to Georgia Tech cause I was a Dual-degree student at the time. Now that's unfortunate that a black person ain't even know the deal!

I brought this topic up so that people could learn to claim their own schools and have pride in them. My school may be small and might not even play college football against anybody else, but I'm proud I attend good ol Flo Mo!
