Last night, I watched on television, the future Illinois Senator Barack Obama speak at the Democratic National Convention. His speech was electrifying. I sat in awe at this african-american delivering the keynote address at the convention saying things that I completely agreed with. He moved the crowd tremendously, even bringing many to tears. After his speech, many people are now saying that he may one day be the first black President. His speech has now been called the highlight of the convention, and the speech that all others have to top. I certainly will be on the lookout for Barack Obama in the future.
Yea I have been following Barack Obama for a long time a he is a very promising politician. His speech last night was one of the best since Jesse Jackson’s keynote address some years ago. He has the upcoming Senate seat on lock. As a matter of fact he scares his opponents so much right now that he is running unopposed, after two of his opponents dropping out of the race.
He should really open up the door for other promising black politicians (like myself) as he continues his path in conquering politics. Who knows he very well could be the first black president. He is a person whom which hope to model my politics after, loved by both sides of the world. What can say, he doing the thang!
Barack Obama ia an awesome person. He attends my church in Chicago and I'm also working on his campaign for Illinois senator.
In Time Magazine, they proposed that he will be along for a long time. In my opinion, I think him and Hillary Clinton will be a good match for a presidential race..
i like this dude. he gave an exceptional speech and touched key issues. His career is very promising.
But i hate to have the n*gga mentality, but i hope he does not change wants he gets accepted by the powers that be. certain start to change wants they get accepted. Hopefully , he will remain stedfast on issues of both sides of the color spectrum. I liked how he recognized that the current status of African Americans are both STRUCTURAL and BEHAVIORAL. Overall, I wish him well and will keep my eye out on him.
P.S.: the issue was never can a African American become the president, but will the white racists who rule this country let one become the president.
Golden Rule: He who has all the gold, makes ALL the rules.
noooo not him and hilary--i guess it would be good for publicity, but who he truly needs to get with is maxine waters...but then again white people aint gonna vote for a black president AND vice president, lord forbid
