I HIIIGHLY doubt it. As much as whites love her, I doubt she'd win an election for the president of the united states of america. I always ask, what would happen first, a black president, or a white woman president? I don't know which would happen first, because we all know who's ran America since the start. But a black woman president? As great as it sounds to us, I just don't see it happening this soon. Even if she did get a lotta votes, if she really had any chance of winning, it would definitely be some shady things goin on to keep her out. Even Oprah is black when it all comes down to politics, and all of her white fans may love her as a host but they probably wouldn't want her to represent them as their president. That's just reality.
PREACH...I just see that NEVER happening. On the real, Oprah's billionaire **** needs to keep her day job. Simple as that.

I agree. But then again, who's the governor of California? White people may vote for her because to them status and money are very important (and Oprah has both).

Not only that, but I'on know that even black folks would vote for her after you actually look at it. What does Oprah do for us? How ofter do you see her getting her hands dirty? Who is on the cover on her magazine? I think she's almost like Martha Stewart. She's built up her empire... now there's a **** in the armour somewhere...
well...she does give money to Black Colleges

She can give all the money she wants. As far as I'm concerned, until I see her out in the trenches with the rest of us, she's only doing it to make herself look good.

:? So because she has something and gives of what she has, she's doing it to make herself look good??? SMH now if she didnt give or do anything for anybody she'd be being selfish. BTW: She does a hella lot more then just give out money to Black colleges.

Well I sure missed it... Its not a matter of her even having anything. I couldn't care less about how much she has. She's not as dynamic of a person as we need to represent us as a country, let alone represent black folk, which is what will be expected. Everything that Oprah does is about Oprah... not other people. Ooooh, so she gives a few broke people some help every now and again. She still doesn't help the ones that seriously need it. Oprah ain't comin to Harlem anytime soon...

Oprah has been out in the trenches. She recently took a trip to Africa in Chad or nigeria, and had a big christmas celebration with all the children there. She gave money to the hospitals, spent over 20 million dollar (of her own money for gifts and presents). She spent 10 million dollars to establish a leadership institute for women with nelson mandella. She also donated another 5 million dollars for something else. She visted hospitals and churches, and homes, and **** victims to offer her support. She has done and given more money to black charities, than any other black person in history. Now, do i believe that Oprah is doing enough for the black community, no. If Oprah would embrace her status and real power she could do wonders. Oprah's ability is not in her money, it is in her influences. Every product and every book that she has on her show, makes people want to by them. movies, kitchen items, anything Oprahs says is good, the sales of that product sky rocket. If Oprah used her media forum to promote black issues, and our problems, i believe the world could change. More importantly than that, i believe that Oprah could convince other powerful black people to give back to their communities and promote the everday struggles of blacks. The artist, sports stars, actors; these are the people that young black children look up to. These are the people we admire and these are the people we imitate. If most of them decided one day to stand for education and not ignorance, to stand for unity instead of black on black crime, to stand for principles and morality, instead of do what ever you feel like, to support black pride and history, instead of black sterotypes: then we will see a difference in our community. On another subject, do i believe she can win the presidency, very doubtful, but she would probably go further than Al sharpton or Jesse jackson. However, we'll never truely know unless she runs
