usually Momma is always there but at times Daddy never was..I'm lucky cause I have a strong relationships with my pops and I'm just wondering who on HBCU has that same bond/relationship and who doesn't..
My dad doesn't get HALF of the respect that my mother does and it's with good reason. We aren't tight at all (I have never lived with him) but he and my momma are trying to get me to come around, but we still have some issues that we need to sort out but I know that if I need something he's got me covered.
yeh me and my pops are cool...
He's been in my life since i was a little girl...
Back when i was lil i use to be a daddy's girl..but puberty hit and i kinda bonded with my momz...
But I love my dad a lot...we're both really quiet so we dont talk too much..but its cool.
My dad and I have a close relationship. He's been there to support me all of my life, and I really appreciate it. I could talk to him on just about anything, and I'm grateful for that. When I become a father, I hope to follow his footsteps.
I love my Daddy
Yeah I am a grown **** man still calling his father "daddy". It is for good reason though. I have lived with my father since I was 5 years old. My mother left my father when I was about three months old. She mishandled her responsibilties and I ended up in foster care..***tear tear***...but on the real...My dad stepped up with the help of my grandmother and I have been with them every since.
Don't get me wrong. He have f*cked up too. However, as a man he did the noble thing and did not run away from a challenge...Sh*t...his responsibility.
So, I can say I know my daddy pretty well. He is a simple man. He doesn't like flashy cars or expensive clothes. He cuts his own hair and works for Domino's Pizza. I wouldn't trade my pops for nothing in the world!
