you said "in his memory" which implies he is ****...hence that's why i said that....now if you wouldve said "why cant we have 8 pages to appreciate ron's life" then i wouldve agreed with you

Maybe because our generation can't identify with his music. I mean yeah he's been featured on many of the latest artist's tracks...but as a WHOLE we know crap about Ron Isley. If this was a 30+ board then this would be an 8 page+ forum.

^^ I sorta agree, but I think that a lot of people know who Ron Isley is, but they have NO idea about the extent of his musicality.. If they have never heard the old classics w/ the Original Isley Bros then they are not musically rounded individuals... I mean... "This Old Heart Of Mine" is a TIMELESS classic... hmm...

I know he will pull through. People know more about Ron Isley and the Isley Bros. than they think. He has been involved with a lot of modern artists, whether in the background or in the forefront.

thats not neccessarily ture. I have memories of what I had for dinner last nite. Sometimes when you try to hard to read into things the outcome just dosnt make sense. We all know the saying about assumptions

ok well if you didnt want me to make assumptions about your statement it couldve meant "why dont we have 8 pages of text literally inside ron's memory"....but then again that wouldnt make sense just like your former statement didnt make a bit of sense ...because dedicating something "in one's memory" usually means they are ****, you dont see people dedicating dinners to someone "in their memory" when the person is alive and well because that would be a serious faux pas.....so simply put since the man is alive, it would be polite and respectful to not say "in his memory"
