I hate that Prarie View backed out. I really wanted to see them. However, this is as varied a band show as one can plan. It'll be a great show.
As far as classics go, Aggie-Eagle is off the chain, but moreso for the extra-curricular activities. As far as game atmospheres, nothing i've been to has even come close to the Bayou Classic. The fact that those two teams have remained consistently even throughout the years has driven that classic to another level.
I thought the Florida Classic was great (went in 2001), but the Bayou is something else.
does anybody know about the bands that are going to be in Charlotte Aug 21. I heard foxy 99 say something about South Carolina State, Westover, Johnson C Smith, NCCU i'm trying to get some tickets

The Bayou Classic not just cuz I go to GSU. But for one it's physically larger than any other rivalry game. ( the game's attendance last year was 70,000+ not to mention the people who tailgated and the ones who couldn't get in) Plus its in the NO. Burbon street is packed and the parties everywhere else.
