Is it me? or do women what a man that is Athletic, Smart, and tall. Lets be real nobody can be all of these things. Sometimes I feel women(especially sistas) have very high standards for choosing a mate.
I think males and females should have high standards. I need someone on my level. That's how folks end up in situations. I rather be single than settle for some non-sense. Besides how I am supposed to take him home to momma.
I believe the key is to find someone you can relate to. When you connect with someone on a level that is higher than physical, then you will be successful. If you have nothing in common, then it won't work...

Maybe im goin crazy but wasnt there a post about what kinda girl the guys like. And most of the dudes who responded said they wanted some girl with long hair, looks good, intelligent, thick, classy, ghetto and some other stuff. SO when it comes to being picky i thibk guys are just as bad as females. But i think a lot of the pickiness comes from the preconceived storybook fairy tale notions. That all women should look for the handsome, wealthy, and kind male. But in reality very few men have all of those qualities. I guess thats why you have a lot of females that are alone because they refuse to settle for anything less then perfect. :?
My next door neighbor won't talk to a girl unless she is light skin with long hair...I don't him he should find a white girl. But seriously lookin for superficial characteristics like that will land in "Lonely Land", but I do feel folks should be picky when it comes to morals and values those are important.

What about me? and my 5'9" charactristic. I wont actively try to get at a girl unless she 5'9" or taller (Meanin if im chillin on the strip I wont stop u and talk to u) unless she got somethin that really attracts me to her.

Yeah I have high standards. I want my man to be tall, dark, smart, athletic, responsible, all that crap but come on now when you meet that one boy yall know yall be like oh f*ck the standards. I'll save those for my husband. I always say I want my man to be all of what I listed but I ain't never had that all in one.
hell yea. Right now I dont need dude to meet ALL my standards b/c like poody said f*ck it, I'll save those for my husband. But you aint never gonna find someone who meet ALL those standards. And when you finally do meet ya husband, you should be in love to a pt where you dont care if he misisng this or that ( we'll work on those :wink: )
Women are picky, and we have every right to be. However, at the same time, I'm not gonna rule a guy out just because he doesn't meet one
standard, unless it's a big one (like being respectful). But shouldn't we want the best? Just like men have standards, women do too.
