Who yall think is more talented, Alicia Keys or Beyonce? Me and my friend were arguing over this yesterday. I said Alicia but she was like nah Beyonce. We were arguing over who could sing/write/everything better. Then she had the nerve to say Beyonce look better. What yall think?
They are not even in the same category to me but I would go with Alicia because Beyonce is so typical. Most singers have a lil dance routine shakin they **** with the backup dancers. I prefer real musicians. I always admired ones who can play an instrument. Beyonce does her thing but so does a lot of other pop singers...( yes i did say pop)
I'ma go with Alicia on this one...I believe that she has alot of staying power...she can make it till she gray and old and everyone would still love her....
Beyonce is riding off her looks right now honestly...I mean she can sing but I don't think she'll be around more than 5 more years....

Sorry to disagree but B aint pop... she's straight R&B, prob moreso then many of the R&B singers out right now. In that aspect she is typical, but B as a typical pop singer... umm, the fact that she could sang would make her atypical... but I gotta give it to A. Keys though

Don't get it twisted, Beyonce' is a good songwriter, dancer, and singer, but i've yet to see her master a musical instrument or arrange sumthin for other musicians to play.
Mz. Keys can sing, write, compose, arrange, dance.....she's a master at her craft.

According to Billboard she is pop and R&B...she plays on our "pop" radio station..the systa has crossed over but hey she doin the damn thang. She may be R&B to black folks but in the music industry...B is both R&B and Pop
I think both are talented but I have to go with Beyonce. Alicia Keys is real cool but its only a few songs on both of her albums that are good. Beyonce's album, however, the whole way through is a ****. Her stage performance is out of this world and she has very creative writing skills. Alicia Keys is a great artist as well but consistently Beyonce has it. She's been in the game for a long time and has came strong each way through. Beyonce is bad and if given the choice to go see her or Alicia, I would choose B.
