I am considering going to TSU. I was wondering, from a studen's point of view, how the school is as far as social/dorm life. When I look at the college's website, it looks more like a school for age 25+,although ther eis no such thing. I mean, I want to go to a school where I will get an excellent education, but at the same time, all work no play makes for a dull life, right? Fill me in y'all. Thank u.
okay what do you guys do for fun?
how are the dorms?
is it true you guys have a kfc and taco bell on campus?
do you guys really have a movie theatre on campus?
wow 25% thats quite a bit of white people

TSU does have all of thoes places to eat. There is a bowling alley and also the women have a hair salon.
It is not 25%white, it is 25% other..We have a lot of exchange students from Africa, and the Middle east; most of the white folks are non-traditional students, meaning they live off campus and have families. They commute, so you wont really know they exist. Plus TSU has 2 campuses. The main 1 on the North side of Nashville, and the school of business downtown. Downtown is where all of the others are, on the main campus, it is very much all BLACK..... aNY MORE QUESTIONS, HIT ME UP ON THE EMAIL....
As J-Live stated its 75/25 along with a lot of multicultural students in that 25. TSU does have a Burger King, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC, and a Starbucks/Smoothie King on the main campus with two cafeterias. There's also a downtown campus with a cafeteria there. TSU has several schools with more than 90 percent having accredited degrees.
* The campus life at TSU is great the greatest people in the world go here!
* Parties are usually off campus but there is still a lot to do on (for example: Ricky Smiley's hosting a variety show tomorrow)
* The clubs here are pretty crunk. There is usually something to do from Wed-Sat.
* HELL NO, I'm so glad I go to TSU. This school has taught me things Im sure I wouldnt have learned anywhere else.
thats probally where i will end up going
i like the fact that the facilities are updated and the educaton is good from what i hear.
im still stuck between southern u, ncat, famu, and tennessee state u
but i hear southern isnt all that great as far as academics go, ncat is cool but im not too fond of north carolina, famu is great-->i have no complaints, and tennessee is cool i love the campus it seems to be more up to date.
so ill probally be there  hopefully if i get in-->ill be a 22 year old transfer student transfering as a junior in fall 2005 which makes me feel a little out of place but i hope im not the only junior that old
