I know about the Groove and the Swing...I walk by their plot at our school everyday...looks so sad because nobody stands on it.
That is sad I need to call some people and let them know!
If I have to stand out there myself I will, if I can get there from chicago and be back in time for class :?
Both SWING and GROOVE are non-greek organizations. SWING entered into a 10 year hiatus period in the 80's, so some of our chapters have yet to be reactivated.
The other two are phi mu alpha and sigma alpha iota
There are two more after that. Mu Phi Epsilon and Delta Omicron. I am a member of Mu Phi Epsilon, the original sister organization to Phi Mu Alpha but after we went co-ed I think they disowned us.
But i am truly repping for the GREEN and WHITE. SIGMAGAMMAPSI CHRISTIAN FRATERNITY, INC. FOUNDED MAY 1, 2004 ON THE CAMPUS OF CENTRAL STATE UNIVERSITY. WE COMING UP. MUCH LOVE TO THE BROTHERS OF GAMMA PSI LAMBDA CHRISTIAN FRATERNITY, LETS MAKE THAT MERGER HAPPEN.[/img]

That interesting. I knew of the two others but I did know about Mu Phi Epsilon being the our original sister organization. I know as of now we identify with Sigma Alpha Iota than any other organization. Can you send me some more information about this to nathanjmayes@yahoo.com
Preciate it.
The burden of beign a neo... so much to learn....
I'm not trying to be funny...but what do the Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowiship and Swing Phi Swing stand for?...We had them come be intermission act for our stepshow...but there show was pretty much nothing..once again I'm not trying to be funny or crack jokes....
^^^I'm not trying to be funny either (seriously), but some questions can be answered with the help of a simple search engine. We're both non-greek organizations started in the 1960s around the Civil Rights Movement. The history of each org can be found on our national pages: www.swingphiswing.org , www.gphig.org
