HOW IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH DAD? Posted on 10-31-2004

THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A FATHER AND DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIP. MOST OF THE MALES HAVE BETTER RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEIR DAD, THAN FEMALES, OR IS IT THE OTHER WAY AROUND? :? N*E* WAYZ, I REALLY DON'T HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH MY DAD, BUT I WANT ONE. I DO TRY TO TALK TO HIM BUT HE REALLY DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY TO ME. HOW CAN I TRY TO HAVE THAT RELATIONSHIP THAT I WANT WITH MY FATHER? HOW IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR DAD?

i love my dad, he loves me... sometimes we dont see eye to eye, other times we do. i think he just wishes i were a boy sometimes, so i could have followed in his footsteps...played football, baseball, run track. instead, i play TENNIS...lol. now, i see that there was a huge difference between my parents though. GOOD GIRLS DO LIKE BAD BOYS.. and yea, that is the case with my parents. so, most times, my mom tries to be more strict(dont get me wrong, that my ni99a fa life), and my dad just wants things to flow...i.e. my carthis year, my mom is like i cant have the car till sophomore year, and my dad tells me on the side, that he's gonna get it to me somehow after turkey day! what can i say, that's...my...DOG!

My relationship w/ my dad is great. My father has ALWAYS been there for everything I have needed. And I am glad I grew up in a home with my two real parents. My dad is a minister and always out helping people. He is a great role model and I have truly learned to be a real man from him and seeing how he does things, and how he tells me certain things when it comes to marriage

I mostly, but wrongly, assumed that all daughters were daddy's girls therefore they had great relationships with their dads. Me and my dad really aren't that close. Seems that as I've grown older, we've grown further and further apart. i wish we could have a better relationship, but hey, what can you do?

Man i LUH my daddy....and this may sound cocky but it's true...but he loves the ground i walk on...this man would go to the moon and back for me and I'd to the same for him...he tells me that I'm the son he never had, b/c my brother never got a chance to play sports...and here i am the girl playing sports...Just yesterday we spent the WHOLE day together...we started off watching Countdown to Kickoff or something like that...then we went to my grandfathers house to watch the falcons game...watched that then he bought me ICE CREAM!!!! He the only guy whose over 200 lbs and 6 feet who'll push me down and put me in a "Figure Four"...We argue but that let's us know that our relationship is healthy...i'm tellin ya me and him are like 2 big **** kids

me and my father are cool...not homies, but our relationship is a hell of alot better after all this withdrawing from school crap. Things didn't really improve until I got to college and found myself in a situation that I didn't know how tha hell I was gonna get out of. At first I resented tha fact that he is a pastor, but now? I am thankful for it.
