I just think it's weird because of all things most people hand down old tees and nalia that they don't want anymore to Neos. How this guy got this shirt is a mystery....
It's possible that he bought the shirt. Where I live you do not have to prove to the vendor that you are in an organization in order to purchase that org's paraphenalia. Some people who are not knowledgeable about BGLOs will purchase an item because they "think" it's "cool."
Inferno, as a person who is not affiliated with a BGLO how would you go about "rectifying" the situation?
Well.... I'd probably come up to him and ask him if he was in the D9, knowing damn well that he's not. Then I'd ask him how he got the shirt.. just out of curiosity, then I'd explain to him that is not a **** organization and I'd educate him .... I'd let him know that none of the D9 have letters that are just thrown together, and then I'd ask him if I could buy the shirt from him.
I mean... not a lot of white people know about D9.. they mostly know Sigma Chi, TriDelta, Delta Zeta, TriSig, aKDPhi, and Alpha Phi.. I mean.. they don't oftentimes understand the lifelong committment... Out of respect for Black history, I'd ask him to sell it to me....
There are ways to get what you want out of people without causing physical harm...But thats where my Que friend would have to come in....

But why would he just go buy a Delta shirt?? He can go to Wal-Mart and buy a shirt if he needed one. I think even if you go to a vendor and want to buy a shirt, I think that these vendors would at least look at him and be like "for real, do you know what this shirt is for". Where I am from, they QUESTION you about buying greek wear and they get contact information so not saying that wherever you are from they don't, but I cant see why this man would have went to a vendor to buy that shirt. I would kinda understand if the shirt had like all kinds of designs, but it's a pretty blunt, "Delta Sigma Theta" "1913", and the greek letters shirt.
It's not that hard also to "rectify" this situation if you are not greek. All you have to do is ask the man is he affilated or is his family affiliated with DST. He's gonna say yes/no, probably no, then explain to him that on that shirt represents an female organization and tell him if he has no affiliation with that organization, then he really shouldnt be wearing the shirt. Also warn him about other conflict he can run into (Deltas and Ques) by having on the shirt, and offer to buy that one from him or buy him another shirt. He shouldnt get offended really.
