Is there any HBCU that you are jealous of, or that you wish your school was more like??
i go to Xavier.. and i wish that we were more like FAMU as far as level of crunkness and having a good time. we have fun down here, but when i when to homecoming week wit my brother who goes to FAMU, i had some real fun!! FAM had some fine **** guls.. but Xavier does to.

Man, it was hype at Xavier my freshman year (Fall 2001), but sometime in these past two years, XU fell off. But anyways, about your homecoming comment, it's all in the budget playa...all in the budget (and we have a sorry **** SGA president this year!!!)

i am on SGA scoobydoo.. the SGA pres isnt the problem..it is xavier's cheap **** budget that they give us

I know you're on SGA and I also know you're a freshman, which means you weren't here when thangs weren't so dull, now were you? And please remember that you just became a class officer last semester, so decisions were made before you got here (yes, I know not all of them, but some). I already said that it's all in the budget, but as far as the homecoming theme and all of that goes, SGA (or someone up there) picked that bullshyt, not the student body, and as I stated before, the PRESIDENT ****!!! And that's not personal, thats just a fact! Paul Atkins (last year's SGA president) and the president and Miss Xavier my freshman year had their stuff together and more went on at XU and homecoming was better. And I'm not even gonna get on that pool party last semester... :roll:

Girl, it could be a lot worse, but think about it....XU is private so we don't get craploads of money from the state. What XU has, XU students pay for, so if we want to have SGA and XAB and other clubs and orgs. do activities, then the money has to come from somewhere, just like that $20 you pay when you live in the residence halls that is used to put on programs that most folks refuse to go to. Forget that damn $80 and look at the constant increase in tuition. And don't let me get started on the fact that we pay $200 or so for ITC charges per semester and the internet in the LLC is STILL OFF!!! I'm not trippin because I just dial up on AOL, but my residents are getting ****.
I go to VSU and am I am jealous of any HBCU that has coed -visitation as freahmen .They must think all we want to do is bone althought, that it true .I just want to be to take a girl to my room without getting kicked out of college for it. I have alot of girls that r just my friend I would like to bring them to my room.
