First, I think I typed in HBCUs, and I joined the site and looked at prospective schools, but I didn't join the cafe until some time later. I was in a band forum, showtimemag.com, when I saw someone post about ghetto names and they posted the thread url.
Actually, I think there were advertisements saying that this site was giving away scholarships, but after I applied I wasn't notified of anything. Then months later, I was just browsing through the Internet, and I saw a message board, and I've been here ever since.
I think i saw it on someone else comp @ HU. That was just the whole guestbook thing tho. Guess it was "in" to see if u could get a million peeps to sign your guestbook.
Anywho, i never clicked on "the cafe" tab cuz i didn't know what that joint was. Oneday i was bored and experienting, clicked on it, and got hooked. And it's all been downhill from there :lol:
