We, the undersigned, are disgusted with Ashlee Simpson's horrible singing and hereby ask her to stop. Stop recording, touring, modeling and performing. We do not wish to see her again.
She cannot match the sound of her voice that can be found on her CDs, when she sings live. She simply yells the words (sometimes the wrong ones) into the mic.
We are so sickened by her "performing" that we are taking this opportunity to demand that she stop.

I actually like Ashlee Simpson she can sing its just her freakin ACID REFLUX DISEASE!!! What's the number one thing you should do when you have a disease................ :?: REST and Make sure its CURED!!! She needs to stop singing until her throat is healed!! My friend had the same disease and his doctor gave him vocal rest for an entire year..actually he still doesn't sing in any of our choir becuz of it, becuz he knows he has to heal it!!!
So therefore, dont get me wrong I think the girl can blow, but when she found out and developed acid reflux disease it f*cks up your voice real bad!!!!

I just went to Ashlee's homepage and she has just written a statement about what happened on SNL... she has made everything clear... she totally fessed up... (wink, wink). She says the cause of the travesity is not because of her band, but because of her acid reflex disease... OF COURSE. Now it make perfect sense... when you get heartburn... you can't sing, instead your body and mind enter a delirous state. This causes you to instantly have a blank look on your face and your body starts doing a square dance. (Happens to me all the time.)
First off you might want to push spell check when you spell Acid Reflux.. n-e wayz me being a singer, I can kinda understand what she's going through. You might wanna check yourself before you go trying to sound off on her.. her disease which has NOTHING to do with the common acid reflux we know (heartburn and all that).. hers is actually called LARYNGOPHARYNGEAL REFLUX which it burns the vocal chords causing you to not be able to sing! I suggest you check out the www.thevoicecenter.org to look @ more info becuz you sayin sh** out yo a** rite about now!! now I agree she shouldn't have done that ho-down stuff that was kind of but for you to basically say I shouldn't believe her when you don't even know what the f*** you talkin bout bro? lol...this is funny...I dont care about Ashlee Simpson either way, but I just find it funny how all these people are hatin on her, yet in still somebody CLEARLY likes her and her music....the album did go double platinum. That counts for something in my opinion. Im not going to sign the petition...and mainly cause there are people who are just as bad as her out there or worse, and they arent getting the grief they deserver about their lip syncing so on and so forth.
