Powell/Obama/Clinton in 2008. Posted on 03-13-2005
Kool 2k6

Am I the only one who see's Colin Powell and Barak Obama running for president in 2008? As much as I like Obama, I think Powell would have the most pull, since he was associated with the guy that kicked John Kerry's **** last November. Hillary? Definitely. If she even show's her name in the primaries in 2008, she's gonna steal the whole show. I mean, she's Bill's wife for God's sake.

Altho I would love to see Hilary run and win...I really dont think she will get the support she needs from southern whites, ESPECIALLY southern white women, to win the race. Southerners are very traditional in the fact that I dont see them supporting a LIBERAL woman for presidency.
she won't get support from southern white male, white women, anyone conservative...we hate her **** and don't let the media fool you itno believeing that she's loved by america...the same way the media fools you into believing that clinton is loved by all america...like i said, clinton is the reason why bush was elected in 2000... she might win new york n california, but that's about it...(tasia)

It all boils down to how 'real' and 'regular' your personality is....and WHO YOU'RE RUNNING AGAINST. When I say "real and regular", I mean by how the average joe can relate to you. true...can the adverage joe relate to obama though? Think about it. Gore could've murdered Bush in 2000, but Gore had ZERO personality and he came off as a big whiny bitchass. So the people (and the bigwigs of the country) voted for for Bush. They didn't like Gore much at all, so he ended up out of the picture. naw i don't think so...the election of gore/bush was conservative america stading up to this "clintonism" that was going on...don't let the **** fool you into believing that gore lost ONLY because he was a robot...it was conservative america retaliating...we had already retaliated in the house n senate, so why not take the executive branch too? but yeah his personality had a some to do with it... Same goes for John Kerry. People couldn't really relate to Kerry, so they didn't vote for him. The average joe can't relate to being born in a rich and uptight environment, so they didn't vote for Kerry. Average Joe's CAN relate to getting sub-par grades in college, escaping the army, doing dirty business, drug habits, and alcohol problems....so they voted for Bush...TWICE. Bush grew up in a wealthy family, but his cocky and **** attitude doesn't show it. has small point there... I rest my fukking case. un hun....>>>(tasia)

Eff The Bullish, Bill Clinton Is STILL My Damn President Yes I am a PROUD Democrat. Obama: Lacks experience and essential extensive political knowledge to run in 2008. While a powerful public speaker, he still has a while to go before he is well-groomed for a presidential campaign Powell: Pulls weight with both whites & blacks from extreme spectral reasons. Blacks would vote simply because he's black. Whites would vote because he has their best interest at heart. He should ask Clarence Thomas to be his Vice President  Rice: She would not pull much weight with blacks and only slightly more with whites. Althought Condi would be well-suited to run for office, she would be nowhere near effective as a president. She would lose simply by southern vote alone. The south allow a woman to be president? A BLACK woman? I think not. Clinton: Most people would vote for her as a means to have BILL bicariously back in office, not because they have an extreme affinity for Hilary. She would pull weight with black and liberal minded democrats, but would lose with conservatives and conservative minded democrats alike.

Nah...votes would go for him because he is a 4 Star General and a Veteran, who can really f**k with that. That means he has the Veterans union on lock, PLUS we're still at war in Iraq/Afghan and we about to hoo-ride on **** and possibely China if they f**k with Taiwain. C'mon now, Powell could be a white man and he'd still have the same amount of pull with whites.

Doubt that, Black folx talk alott Sh*t, but we'd give our vote to Condi just to see not just a Black, but a BLACK WOMAN in office. Hell, my momma is a Democrat 4LIFE, but I gaur-en-damn-tee you she'd vote for Condi. Unless Condi found the cure for cancer or negotiated peace in the Middle East, I don't see her winning over any conversevative Whites.

Wrong, if that was true then Elanor Rosevelot could've ran for President after FDR died. Nobody is dumb enough to vote Hilary in office just because she carries the last name of Clinton. If anything, it would bring up all the scandalous Sh*t her husband pulled, how many people will have faith in a woman who stayed with her husband despite the COUNTLESS affairs he had.
Oh My Lord. I have neither the time nor the energy to dissect and address your countless argumental flaws. Simply put: To each his/her own.

Translation = I can't refute the arguements so I'm gonna put up some filler statement in order to buy time until I can think of something INTELLIGENT to say, or until I can go GOOGLE some statistics.
