I was wondering if anyone here is a vegetarian, and if so, do you have any good recipes. I want to go vegetarian for a while and see how I like it. The only thing I am concerned with is making sure that I still get all my proteins, carbs, fats, etc. I can cook, so don't worry about if anything is difficult to make.
Also, even if you don't have any good recipes or ideas, just your ideas and thoughts on vegetarianism, especially those who are currently or have ever tried it. THANKS!
I am vegit. but i am a vegi. that eats dairy drinks milk etc.; however, i usually eat like salads, veggie burgers. i have been a veggie eater since August. so i am pretty new at it, i eat what i would normally eat without the meat. I also eat Seafood, i am from the islands thats all i eat.
I would try it but my family would look at me crazy as hell it if was talking about I was a vegetarian.
What's a difference between a vegan and a vegetarian?
vegetarian-no meat what-so-ever..fruit/veggies/tofu & meat subs/...dairy/basically anything but meat..some eat fish but i dont don't believe them to be true vegetarians..
vegan-nothing but fruits and veggies..nothing
raw vegan(i think thats what she called it)-nothin but RAW fruits and veggies....yes i met one, and whats wierd about it is that she was kinda thick... i was like wow...interesting...I was raised vegetarian, but I could never live off raw fruits and vegetables... [-(
nothing? beans, nuts, and sugars are still in, right? to refine the definition:
vegan = no meat + no products derived from animals. that means no wool, no milk, no eggs, etc. it's not just a diet, it's a lifestyle, lol
actually there are different types of vegetarians
a vegan is one who doesn't eat anything derived from an animal like crunkmoney said...
but an ova lacto vegetarian can eat milk products and eggs
you have the type that don't eat beef...that don't eat pork...and the type that eats seafood
I'd look up the info but im lazy as LONG as I know hehehehe
