well Sh*t, if y'all would've just let him come for the cause instead of boycotting just b/c of a music video, the donor prolly would've been matched, and she probably could've lived...
I knew Spelman's name would come up as well. What do they have to do with his sister's passing away?!? Understand that everything happens for a reason. If it was meant to be, then it would have.

I pray for peace for the family. May God watch over them and hold them in his loving arms.

I agree with that. Instead of focusing on the real situation a womans life and health they focused on some chicks who DECIDED they wanted to be in this video.

Yet another loss to Luekemia. I've donated once, and it was utterly the most painful thing I have ever done, aside from my stomach tattoo. I would do it again (Anesthesia is a must, if it can be done), and they give me 40 days with of vicadin like last time. Hell yeah I'll save another life. Even without the vicadin, but I do not want to sit through those needles/swords again whilst awake. Thunder.

I'm also registered with the National Marrow Donar Program/ NMDP. I haven't been selected as a donar, but I was screened and determined to match someone in New York. However, another person matched more closely. Blacks are rarely donars and are one of the populations with the highest need. Let's do our part by registering with the NMDP. Go to www.marrow.org/NMDP/about_nmdp_idx.html/.

I agree with MissJazzyAKA 100%. I also agree that the timing for that whole protest was wrong, but a lot of people think that because he didn't come, the whole donor drive was canceled. The drive still went on as planned, and from what I heard it was very successful. Again, my prayers go out to his family.

R.I.P....and my own personal opinions...Spelman aint got sh*t to do with her death...yeah they boycotted the drive but when God is ready for you to come home, you going home regardless of any circumstances that could have or not have prevented you from your stay on earth.
