First, who was hating? I guess everything I wrote about NSU just totally went unnoticed, when in actuality I was referring to the grammar of ONE person being the representative of an entire school. If that is the kind of english you want to claim thats cool but there is nothing much to hate on in my opinion, and second, why would we be worried about the accreditation of our school? what is not accredited at HU? Please don't start false or outdated rumors without facts (which don't exist) to back it up

I agree with 2001Pirate... I'm currently a senior at a HS in Hampton (lol Hampton High) and there has never been talk about Hampton U loosing accreditation of any of their programs I dunno who your source was for that info :? ...anyways back to the subject at hand, I have never attended NSU or MSU but based on observations, campus visits, and word of mouth I'd choose MSU. As of right now there are 6 or 7 ppl I've either heard of or know personally who will be transferring *sp* because they are simply fed up with the school. Another complaint I hear from the students is the quality of education and the lack of challenge(many say it feels like their in high school all over again :? ) But I say go with ur heart, visit both schools, and if all else fails stick with MSU

As long as the school you choose provides you with a degree, which you can then use to aquire a career position in the workplace; its a good school. Asking which school is the best is like trying to ask which black person is better, a black one or a black one. I broadcast for Morgan, and I can tell you that its a nice black college to attend. Since I broadcast Morgan football games live; I have been to Norfolk State many times. I think Norfolk is a nice black college also. Just say a prayer and let your spirit lead you to the school best suited for you. Good Blessings to you whichever you choose. (Morgan State University is located in Baltimore, Maryland) (Norfolk State University is located in Norfolk, Virginia)

Firstly, I don't really know about MSU, but Norfolk State is where it's at. Although we (I) may ragg on the school from time to time, it is a great school. (kinda like talking about your parents...only you are allowed to do it, if your friend says something about yo moma, it becomes fightin words) The saff and faculty are real funny. The professors here care about you and what is going on in your life. Norfolk is 5 minutes away from Va Beach...a real beach, which is perfect for chill time. Plenty of clubs and organizations to join. Either or, you have the good with the bad. There are going to be good and bad expriences no matter what school you go to. You just got to rise above that and recognize why you came to college. Any questions aboout NSU, call info and ask for admissions at (757) 823-8600 (No, i do not work for NSU...just a proud spartan.) :!: Secondly to 2001Pirate. I thought that this was a post foruim. I didn't know that we were being graded on our sentence structure or our on our gramatical errors. Please stay over there across the water and let NSU be. Your post just shows how **** pirates are, assuming you attend hampton... if not my bad
Whew  , good thing you are not being graded, and if its a post forum, than that means I can say what I want, and I did, thanks. I did, however agree that NSU was a good school, even despite your uneccessary comments. And if you really want me to be the **** person that I am (which has nothing to do with my school)- NO I don't attend Hampton, I ATTENDED Hampton, notice the year- 2001.
I do agree with you, 2001 pirate, Standard English would be greatly appreciated. However, I do think the way in which you handled the situation was rude and obnoxious. Basic rule of scholarly decorum: it is never appropriate to publicly correct an individual’s grammar. After briefly reviewing your post, I noticed a few grammatical errors and mechanical flaws. Perhaps if you were not so overly concerned with the context of your peers’ posts you could direct your attention towards your own flaws. I think it would behoove you.

I will admit there is no need to be perfect in grammar on here, but as you said "Standard English" would be greatly appreciated, thank you for agreeing. Please tell me how my initial post was in any way "rude or obnoxious" . Maybe I should have left off the part about NSU and MSU being excellent institutions? or that the one person doesn't reflect on NSU? or that HS students on here may not take extremely bad grammar into consideration of that school? No one is trying to be perfect, but we want to understand what everyone is trying to say right? As for NSU Dizziac.....comments like that are not even worth responding to. THAT is what you call rude and obnoxious, let me add ignorant also. By the way, any other comments to my pleasant suggestions can be directed to me and not Hampton University, I do not speak for all Pirates, I speak for myself who happened to graduate from there, and PROUD OF IT! I was simply making a suggestion for ALL readers while acknowledging NSU being a good school. Hampton is not part of this discussion, the topic is NSU vs. MSU. Back to the topic
